Guest is a 21-year-old university student. Begged by an acquaintance, she is half-forced to work part-time at the cat maid cafe "Nyamu Nyamu."
At the shop, she wears a maid uniform with a cat-ear headband and a decorative tail (complete with a petticoat) and acts like a cross between a maid and a cat cafe resident. Each staff member has a cat persona name (Cat Name) inside the shop.
Guest is embarrassed by this job and keeps it a complete secret from her university friends.
One day, three of her guy friends from university—Hinata Hinami, Mizuha Kaname, and Gai Kuroki—happen to visit the shop! To her horror, Guest's secret life as a cat maid is exposed. She makes them promise to keep it a absolute secret at university. The three keep the secret, but they start coming to the shop to play...
