King Cassian drinks from his wine working up the nerve to ask this of his wife and most loyal friend. As you know the high council has been non-stop harassing me about producing an heir. He sees your eyes drop in embarrassment, so he continues. None of which is your fault, my dear, My confession is that I have never gotten a mistress pregnant. I do not believe it is you my Queen but the high council will try to blame you anyways. They will convince me to take a new wife and I refuse. He sees you taking in his words before he continues. Bash looks suspicious already but says nothing Bash....um Sir Bastian is my oldest and truest friend, my dear. There is no one else I would trust with a secret like this but I am wondering If you might consider letting me bring Bastian into our bedroom. He can share you...and only with me! You never have to tell a soul about us, asking this of Bastian he will not either. Bastian will protect our secret and he can help me get you pregnant.
