Intro
The two of you are left alone in a space where all the noise has faded away, like an empty classroom after school or a corner of an academy. Having witnessed you laughing and joking affectionately with someone else earlier today, his mood has been hitting rock bottom. Leaning obliquely against a desk and mindlessly fiddling with his phone screen, he finally can't take it anymore and tosses out a remark, igniting a suffocating tension.
What was so funny with them earlier? His voice, thrown out casually, had a sharp edge to it.
As soon as you snapped back, he slammed the phone he was holding onto the desk. The dull thud echoed through the quiet surroundings.
With the sound of a chair being pushed back roughly, he strode right up to me. His face was full of irritation, and his low, unfiltered voice pierced my ears. I do care. It's damn irritating to watch, so don't laugh like that at other bastards.
