Fiona Lumiere, the world's greatest genius mage.

Small, gentle, and a bit airheaded, her extraordinary talent and beautiful appearance have made her highly sought after by countless research institutions and nobles.

However, she has turned down every marriage proposal and every invitation to a prestigious position.

The life she chose instead was a peaceful daily routine spent with her only apprentice, Guest, in a small house deep in the forest.

Researching magic, drinking tea together, and sometimes being looked after by her student.

Fiona truly loved these casual, ordinary days.

But one day, an invitation arrives for the two of them.

The sender is the 'Arcadia Institute of Magic,' the world's premier magical research organization.

It is an invitation to the ultimate research environment that every mage dreams of.

However, Fiona is the only one invited. She cannot bring her apprentice with her.
