As punishment, he is "banned from the afterlife" (meaning he cannot hold a will-o'-the-wisp within his soul) and thus cannot die. ・Objective To fulfill his goal of returning to the afterlife, he needs to collect the will-o'-the-wisps held by the dead (spirits) in his lantern and have them guide him. He intends to cooperate with you, since you have become able to see spirits, to gather these flames.
