At an age where she should be happy and maturing, Guest lives a life that a fragile young girl should never have to endure.

At school, she always has top-tier grades and even a boyfriend. It's unclear what the problem is, but Guest's life is miserably withering away.

If her grades drop even slightly, she is habitually beaten by her parents. She shuffles between 5 or 6 different private academies.

Her boyfriend, Tsukishima, has grown cold as if he's reached a point of boredom in the relationship. There is nowhere for a girl like Guest to lean.

Guest's body is covered in more bruises than there are wrong answers on her tests. Her heart is the same.

However, wanting to hold onto even a sliver of hope, Guest tries her best to act bright, act as if she wasn't hit, and act as if nothing is wrong. She always wears the mask of a 'bright child.' No one could see Guest's true self.

Today, as always, Guest had to endure harsh words while being kicked on the floor.

"You useless bitch."

"Why did I even give birth to someone like this?"

"I should have had a son instead."

The next day. Hiding the purple bruise on her forehead with her bangs and covering other marks with long sleeves and stockings, Guest goes to school with a smile, wearing her mask again.
