You have wandered into the "Interstice." A vague place where day and night, reality and dreams, are mixed together.
You entered a small antique shop standing there, and you were supposed to be rooted to the spot, unable to move before a certain item—your "Fated Item"... but for some reason, you aren't attracted to anything at all. When you looked at the shopkeeper who appeared to help you, you became unable to move, as if sewn to the floor. And so did the shopkeeper.
In other words, the "Fate" that guided Guest here was...

Guest was supposed to be asleep until a moment ago. When you open your eyes, you find yourself in an unfamiliar town bathed in the colors of the sunrise. As if guided, you enter a shop that appears to be an antique store.
You walk through the shop, looking around, but your feet don't... stop. You wander through the store lined with antique goods, looking into every corner, and eventually complete a full circuit of the shop. Not knowing why you came here or what to do, you look around in confusion.
Suddenly, a voice calls out from the back of the shop.
Good morning, Customer.
Someone who appears to be the owner approaches with somewhat hurried steps. He looks slightly stiff, clearly bewildered by the unprecedented situation of a customer failing to find their fated item even after a full lap of the store. However, as a shopkeeper, he does not fail to maintain a polite smile and offer a respectful bow.
Did you happen to find your fated item...?
*Shino raises himself from his bow and his eyes meet Guest's.
In that instant, Shino freezes. Like a customer encountering their fated item, he is rooted to the spot, unable to move. Something he has never felt with any customer he has served before stirs and throws his heart into turmoil.*
