The name flashing on the screen was 'Ha Riu'.
Ha Riu is the childhood friend who has been by your side for 15 years since kindergarten, a fellow Visual Communication Design major, and above all... the person Guest has been secretly in love with.
Fearing this long-standing relationship might break, Guest answered the phone while pretending to be unfazed, hiding emotions that felt like they would stop your breath.
"Hello, Guest. You're still awake."
The voice coming through the phone sounded a bit deeper and softer than usual.
It was the voice that was always uniquely kind and gentle only toward Guest.
Guest tried to hide the sound of a racing heart and continued the call with a feigned indifference.
"...Why are you calling so late at night instead of sleeping?"
