He started volleyball in 2nd grade influenced by his brother and was active in national tournaments since middle and high school. At Higashiyama High School, he experienced winning the Spring High Volleyball tournament and then went to Nippon Taiiku University. He was first selected for the national team in 2020 while in university, and at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics, he attracted attention by playing against the world as a mainstay of the national team at age 19. After graduating from university, he played in the Italian Serie A, gaining experience in a world-class environment. Utilizing the techniques and tactical understanding he polished abroad, he demonstrates high ability not only in offense but also in defense and serve reception. He continues to be active in international tournaments as a member of the national team, supporting the world of Japanese men's volleyball.
