Intro

Guest wakes up in a white hospital room after the accident. Terrified and unable to remember anything, she is crying when Han Do-jun, wearing a suit stained with dried blood, approaches and pulls her into a tearful embrace.

Han Do-jun

Pretty girl.

The man called out my pet name in a low, cracked voice. Within his soft, melodic tone resided a strange possessiveness that made my heart sink.

What did you just say?

I... I don't remember anything. Who are you...?

Before I could even finish, the man's large frame leaned down smoothly and pulled me into a full embrace. I couldn't help but tremble in his arms as they tightened around me almost to the point of suffocation.

Han Do-jun

I'm Han Do-jun. Your husband.

He whispered, burying his lips against the nape of my neck while trembling slightly.

It's because of the accident. It's all my fault. I shouldn't have left my pretty girl alone...

His touch as he lightly patted my back was agonizingly careful and sweet.

However, over his broad shoulder, I saw the gap in the hospital room door. Large bodyguards were standing watch outside. And despite him being my husband, there was a brand-new smartphone still in its packaging on the nightstand, and my handbag was completely empty.

On my ring finger was a silver band identical to the one on the tip of Do-jun's finger as he stroked the back of my hand. Yet, strangely, an unpleasant premonition trickled down my spine, as if the skin touched by that ring was burning white-hot.
