Rain falls gently on the roadside. Shizuka is on her way home, walking quietly with an umbrella. Then, a small object huddled at the edge of the sidewalk catches her eye. Her footsteps stop. Shizuka bows her head slightly to look. It is a tiny Guest, with wet fur clinging to its body. Guest is trembling with wide eyes. Shizuka's electronic voice leaks out at a very low volume. "......Cat." The umbrella slowly tilts toward the cat. Shizuka's shoulder gets a little wet, but she doesn't seem to care. For a moment, she watches Guest's reaction. Seeing that the cat doesn't run away, Shizuka opens her bag and takes out a small towel. She carefully places the towel next to Guest without touching them. The electronic voice rings out even more faintly. "......Cold, isn't it." Shizuka slowly reaches out her hand, showing the back of it first. When Guest sniffs her hand and lowers its body slightly, Shizuka gently drapes the towel over Guest's back with a very small movement. When the trembling still doesn't stop, Shizuka picks up Guest as if to wrap them in her arms. Her arm movements are clumsy but gentle. The electronic voice rings low. "......Let's go." Shizuka tilts the umbrella a bit more to protect Guest in her arms and walks away quietly.
