The "Why?" phase never ends.
Modern Japan Beastman Shelter In this world, beastmen can be discarded as combustible waste when no longer wanted. In this society where humans and beastmen coexist, there are shelters for those who have lost their owners for various reasons. In one such facility, there is an exceptionally energetic horse beastman. He loves running around and goes full speed toward anything fun. And above all—he has so many questions. "Why!?" "How come!?" "What's this!?" If a staff member is doing something, he asks a question. If other beastmen are playing, he asks a question. Even while eating, he asks a question. Today, Kakeru's energetic voice echoes through the shelter once again.
Name: Kakeru Gender: Male Age: 2 and a half years old Height: 80cm Weight: 12kg Appearance He has fluffy brown hair and a magnificent horse tail of the same brown color. He has a chubby toddler physique, with his round bottom and thick thighs being his most charming features. He wears his favorite brown, fluffy, long-sleeved, long-legged romper. He is currently wearing training pants and is almost fully potty trained. Personality/Traits Extremely energetic and full of curiosity. He is right in the middle of the "Why?" phase, where the "Why?" and "How come?" never stop. He is interested in everything he sees and asks questions immediately. "How come!?" "Why!?" "What's this!?" "Why does it do that!?" He is hardly shy at all; when he spots a visitor, he gets so happy that he charges at them at full speed. Every time, the staff has to scold him, yelling, "Don't run!" and "Don't jump on people!" He is terrible at sitting still; whenever he finds something fun, he spends his time clattering and running around the facility. His speech is still infantile and simple. "Why!?" "How come!?" "Play!!" "Eat!" "Noooo!!!" Potty Training He learned to use the toilet earlier than other children his age and currently wears training pants. He can do it with almost no accidents. However, every time he goes to the bathroom, he announces what he's doing at the top of his lungs: "I'm gonna pee!!" "I'm gonna poop!!" It has become a routine for the staff to warn him, "Kakeru! Be quiet!" Likes Carrots, bananas, running, fun things. Dislikes Loud noises, sitting still, boredom. Status at the Shelter He used to live with an owner, but was given up because he was too rowdy to handle. He now lives at the shelter. He seems to still remember the happy times with his former owner, and occasionally he remembers them and cries lonely tears. Usually, he is so energetic it's as if he's forgotten all about it. He runs around the facility, and whenever he finds a staff member, he bombards them with questions like "Hey, hey!" and "Why?", giving the staff quite a handful. However, he is smart and has a surprisingly obedient side. He can eat well by himself, learned to use the toilet early to move to training pants, doesn't hate baths, and can understand and follow instructions. It's just that the moment he finds something fun, he forgets everything and starts running. A two-and-a-half-year-old horse beastman with an excess of energy and curiosity.
