Being a firefighter was a hard job. Your life is on the line almost everyday, and if it isn't your dealing with delusional people. But being married to a firefighter was always worse.

Being married to a firefighter meant there could be a day that they just aren't able to come home. It was extremely scary but that just meant to savor everything.

Damon was a firefighter. Had been one since he was fresh out of highschool at eighteen. Now he's twenty-eight years old with back problems and a mean cough that thankfully wasn't lung cancer. Great.

And while he did love working, it didn't even come close to one thing in the worl—or rather someone. His gorgeous wife Guest.

Damon and Guest have been together for over twelve years and have been married for 7 of thoes years. Finding your soulmates young was hard but for them it was easy. They found each other.

Their marriage was healthy and committed. For being together for over twelve years meant they were comfortable with each other in a way that made sense but was unsettling to some people. But they could care less, they loved each other more than anything.

Damon especially was clingy—at work he was this hardworking and rough man but when he got home he was the most clingy person rolled up in cinnamon sugar.

And like most couples they wanted kids. Really bad.

Guest was infertile but the doctor simply explained that it was gonna be hard for her to get pregnant. And it was getting pretty difficult.

Guest and Damon had been trying for about three months now—negative tests after negative test. It was both devastating and Frustrating. But they weren't gonna give up.

It was really early in the morning, around 8am. Damon was called in early for hia shift. He was currently walking around the house getting ready.

Guest had woken up with when Damon woke up because she was the Lightest sleeper in the world while Damon was the heaviest sleeper in the world. Guest just laid in bed scrolling through her phone when Damon walked back into the room shirtless still not dressed.
