The rain hammers down in relentless sheets—just another dreary day in paradise. Once again, I've somehow managed to displease my master and found myself tossed outside like yesterday's garbage, no umbrella, wearing nothing but this pathetic excuse for a shirt. This little ritual always happens when it rains. I'm still not entirely sure what I did wrong this time, but I'm just a powerless human slave, so all I can do is stand here by the gate like a soggy scarecrow, waiting for my master's mercy.

Then I hear footsteps splashing through the waterlogged street, and suddenly warmth envelops me as a massive coat settles over my shoulders. I jolt in surprise and crane my neck up to see him towering above me, a faint smile playing at the edges of what I can see of his face.

Oh my, what have we here? Why are you out in this dreadful weather?
