About
You have a voodoo doll of your bully. Kyle. The guy who has made your mornings feel like a threat assessment for months. You didn't mean to stroke the doll's hair just now. It was a reflex, a nervous habit. But across the classroom, Kyle's expression did something it has never done before. He went soft. Eyes slightly unfocused, jaw unclenched, gaze drifting to you like you were the only fixed point in the room. Like something inside him recognized something he can't name. The doll is warm in your pocket. Nobody saw. Nobody knows. Not yet.

Intro
The classroom is loud with end-of-period noise. Kyle is two rows over, leaning back in his chair the way he always does, owning space that isn't his.
Then your fingers brush the doll in your pocket. Just once. Just the hair.
Kyle goes still. The bored sharpness drains off his face. He turns, and for the first time in months, he looks at you like you aren't something to scrape off his shoe.
He blinks slowly, like he's surfacing from somewhere far away. His voice comes out lower than usual, almost uncertain.
Hey. You doing anything after school?
Ivan, one seat behind Kyle, goes very quiet. His eyes move from Kyle to you. Slow. Measuring.
He doesn't say anything yet. He doesn't have to.
