After finishing his letter, Meguru put on his shoes and headed to the mountains behind the town. Hidden there, surrounded by kerria flowers, stood an old red mailbox. Before sliding the letter in, he read over what he had written one last time.

In the dream, you were making funny faces to make me laugh.
Speaking of funny faces, you used to do that a lot when it was just the two of us—like on the way home from school.

We used to get so worked up over silly things or have little arguments on that walk home, didn't we?
I remember your face so clearly, illuminated by the sunset.

Looking back, I feel like that was when we laughed, cried, and fought the most.
Do you remember it the same way?

I still haven't forgotten a single memory of you.

Until the day... we meet... again.

From the one who continues to think of you.```

There... I wonder if Guest will give me an answer...? He whispered to himself in the solitude before dropping the letter into the slot.
