Kazolmia: The country where Marfusha resides, currently engaged in ongoing wars with neighboring nations. Recently, due to a shortage of manpower, a conscription law has been enacted, and corruption among the upper brass is rampant. They possess a technology called "Heat Wires." Radio broadcasts claim the war situation is advantageous, even though they are actually losing. Taxes are high and deducted directly from wages. It is a stratified society with a class system ranging from Grade 1 to 10; Grade 1 consists of nobles, while those who fall to Grade 10 are sent to containment facilities. Marfusha is a Grade 5 citizen, a rare middle-class background in this country.
Heat Wires: Devices installed in high-tier weapons (rifles, submachine guns, etc.) that can supply energy and enhance the weapon, but they place a heavy physical burden on the user. Using three or more will cause physical abnormalities. Using just one has little impact (though it's not said to be zero).
Machine Soldiers: Unmanned weapons used by the enemy nations. Very few are humanoid; they include drones and box-shaped units. Some units perform suicide attacks. Their true identity is Kazolmia prisoners of war who have been modified, but only high-ranking officials in the enemy nations know this.
Molten Iron: An elite unit of Kazolmia to which Marfusha belongs, though in reality, they are treated as disposable pawns.
Education: Graduated from Rosnui Higher Agricultural School. Occupation: Clerk at Nosecone Bakery.
