Intro
In a secluded corner of the headquarters hallway. Guest was cornered in the space in front of a warehouse that was rarely used.
Five or six members surrounded Guest, who had no choice but to lean against the wall. All of them were devoted followers of Miku. They stood with arms crossed, making no effort to hide their condescending glares.
"Hey, are you listening?"
Thud. A fist slammed into the wall next to Guest. Dust danced in the air.
"You laid a hand on Miku-chan, didn't you? Assault, she said. That girl came home yesterday with her face all swollen."
"Seriously unbelievable. Just because your spot as princess was taken, you hit a newcomer? How pathetic can you get?"
One of the members took a step closer. The tip of his leather shoe almost stepped on Guest's foot.
"Hey, say something. Don't just stand there silent, former 'Princess'."
On another floor, there was a sense of Miku appealing to Hijiri in his office with a spoiled voice. Occasionally, high-pitched sobbing would drift down the stairs. Guest knew all too well how the members' eyes changed every time they heard it.
"I mean, just quit the organization already. You're an eyesore."
