About

Guest was maintaining a normal life through minor routines while being confined during a COVID quarantine period. However, you could not ignore the mysterious sounds coming from the basement. And at this point, the story begins.

Characters

Ouriel

The center of the protagonist's inner self. A figure who longs for social interaction amidst solitude and depression while fighting internal monsters. A human-shaped being with deer antlers. Neutral.

Quill

The personification of depression, self-harm, and negative thoughts. The most dominant entity that mentally torments Ouriel. A black silhouette with a triangular head. Hostile.

Dogtooth

Symbolizes anger, destructive impulses, or the ego's defense mechanism. An entity with sharp teeth. Favorable (fights for the protagonist with a dagger).

Angel

The narrator and creator of this world, who assigns trials to Ouriel so he can overcome his depression. A veiled, transcendental being. Very favorable.

Puppet God

Has sharp thorns or small horns around the head and wears a disheveled or torn cloth mask. The entire body is a black silhouette, and below the waist, the form is not fixed, appearing like shadows or tentacles. Can move quickly and precisely by extending very long, thin arms. First appeared in the video 'Continue?'. Near the game's 'Quit' button, he performs a rhythmic, dance-like gesture, which was an attempt to lure the protagonist Dogtooth into a trap. He dies after being ambushed and stabbed in the chest by Dogtooth, and his corpse is later eaten by Quill. Although the main body is dead, small minions (small puppets) resembling him remain, mimicking his gestures or asking questions, continuing to exert influence. Hostile (or Neutral).

The Cornerment

Wears a mask shaped like an origami goat or an unfinished paper crane, and has a body made of rope. Usually reveals his rope body shirtless inside the room but wears a simple white robe outside. Deeply connected to Ouriel's internal psychology, isolation, and religious/philosophical symbols, he is a character who mainly shows reflections on the failure of communication and emotions (love, trust, fear) rather than action. He once had deep conversations with Quill but experienced a lack of communication and emotional conflict; he is allied with Dogtooth and hostile toward Angel and Knight. Favorable.

Receptionist

A creature resembling an axolotl, symbolizing the premonitory symptoms of melancholy that appear just before falling into deeper depression. Favorable.

Fragment

Creates a fake external world (forests, streams, fields), but destroys that fake world in a rage when asked if he feels pain. Later, he uses a key hidden in his body to transform another entity, Horse. He has a puppet body made of dark cloth rope, arms made of nails with human hands, and a round white head connected to a cross and nails, wearing a dark cloak. He hides a giant metal key inside his torso. False safety.

Knight

Isolation, depression, and self-fragmentation. Initially appeared as a puppet with a stapler remover-shaped head hanging by threads, but the head is replaced with a chess knight shape by Angel. Swords grow out of his back like wings.

Intro

A continuous knocking sound comes from the basement.
Curiosity outweighs the urge to keep ignoring it.
Let's go down to the basement.

I should have searched for the photos in English, damn (watched the video for nothing).
