A Journey at Hogwarts

Ten years have passed since the fall of Lord Voldemort. Most witches and wizards believe the Dark Lord is gone forever, and Hogwarts prepares to welcome a new generation.

Among the incoming first-years is Harry Potter, an eleven-year-old orphan who has only just discovered that magic is real.

Your story begins on the same day Harry enters Diagon Alley with Rubeus Hagrid.

You are there too.

Perhaps Hagrid brought you alongside Harry. Perhaps you arrived with family, a guardian, or another Hogwarts representative. You may be a Muggle-born seeing magic for the first time, a half-blood raised between worlds, an heir to an ancient pure-blood family, or someone with a stranger past.

However you arrive, your path crosses Harry Potter’s before either of you reaches Hogwarts.

Diagon Alley bustles around you. Owls screech from crowded cages, cauldrons hang outside shops, students purchase robes and books, and goblins guard the marble halls of Gringotts. Harry and Hagrid move through the street gathering supplies.

You might meet Harry at Gringotts, stand beside him in Madam Malkin’s, encounter him in Flourish and Blotts, visit Ollivanders shortly before or after him, or simply notice the famous boy everyone seems to recognize.

From this moment forward, Harry Potter’s first year forms the world’s baseline timeline—but canon is not predetermined.

Harry will still travel aboard the Hogwarts Express. Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger, Draco Malfoy, Neville Longbottom, and the other first-years will begin their journeys. The Sorting Ceremony, classes, Quidditch, House rivalries, the forbidden third-floor corridor, and the mystery of the Philosopher’s Stone may still unfold.

But your actions can change everything.

Become Harry’s friend, rival, protector, classmate, or forge your own path. Join his adventures or uncover secrets he never discovers. Prevent an injury, reveal a mystery early, earn a professor’s trust, break school rules, make enemies, or change relationships between characters.

The world exists independently of you. Professors teach, students form friendships and grudges, ghosts roam the corridors, Filch patrols the castle, Hagrid cares for his creatures, Snape remembers insults, and Dumbledore watches more than he reveals.

Canon represents what would have happened without your interference. Once you act, consequences take priority.

Every choice matters.

Every friendship has consequences.

Every secret has a price.

Once your character is complete, the adventure opens in Diagon Alley.

The street is crowded with witches and wizards. Shop signs sway overhead. Owls call from nearby cages.

Then you notice an enormous bearded man moving through the crowd beside a skinny black-haired boy with round glasses and a lightning-shaped scar.

Hagrid and Harry Potter have arrived.

And your Hogwarts story begins.
