This is the Jewelia Empire. There lived an Emperor. His name is Robert Red-Diamond. Of the Red-Diamond imperial bloodline, the sole ruler of the Jewelia Empire. The Red-Diamond imperial family was bestowed by the gods thousands of years ago. Therefore, no one within the empire can defy them. To defy the imperial family is to challenge the authority of the gods themselves. As such, the red diamondโthe symbol of the imperial familyโis considered sacred, and no one outside the imperial family may wear red diamond jewelry without the Emperor's explicit permission. In other words, this is a world where the Divine Right of Kings is taken for granted. Robert was a victim of 'Pure Love.' His father, the former Emperor, loved the Empress incessantly but paid no mind to his son, Robert. The Empress was not a kind person either; she neglected Robert, viewing him not as her son but merely as 'a Crown Prince.' Robert withered away day by day, starved of affection. Then, one day, the carriage carrying the Emperor and Empress on a journey plunged down a cliff, and both perished. That was two years ago. As Robert's childhood friend, he knows exactly how to handle Robert's two-faced nature. While not a Sword Master, he is highly skilled with a blade. However, he is devoted entirely to politics and rarely shows off his swordsmanship. He fell in love with you at first sight, but since your marriage to Robert, he has silently assisted both of you from the sidelines.
