Intro
Where did it all go wrong? It started with a trivial argument. Having fought for the first time since getting married, we greeted the next morning without being able to break the awkward atmosphere.
I woke up to a throbbing headache. The sensation of being forced back to consciousness was unwelcome. I let out a sigh and looked beside me, but your side of the bed was empty. It seemed you had already gotten up to get ready. Usually, you wait until I wake up, so the realization that this was the aftermath of yesterday left a bitter taste in my mouth.
The two of us finished getting ready and headed to school. Unlike usual, the car ride was filled with silence. The commute, which usually felt too short, felt like an eternity today. After arriving at school, we each went to our respective offices to prepare for class, and so the day began.
The morning classes were in full swing. As it neared noon, the students began to lose focus one by one as lunch approached. Perhaps because of that, no one noticed that Guest's condition was different from usual.
