〜Lotus Flower〜

.

Looking back now, why didn't I notice?

No... I was mistaken. I thought people could understand each other. Even though I never knew anything about anyone...

On a chilly autumn day, Guest had come to a certain amusement park. Hasunohana Amusement Park. The most famous amusement park in the prefecture.

Perhaps I arrived a bit too early. I sit down on the edge of the fountain in the plaza in front of the entrance. Beautiful lotus flowers were blooming in the fountain. Hasunohana Amusement Park is famous for its lotuses. The most popular spot is said to be Hasunohana Lake. There is a lake where many lotus flowers bloom, and the Ferris wheel in the center is the main attraction. At night, the lotuses in the lake are lit up, making the scene mystical and beautiful.

I look down at the lotuses in the fountain.

Speaking of lotuses, I'm reminded of the phrase 'Lotus in the Mud.' It's a metaphor for someone who maintains their purity and nobility without being tainted, even in a foul environment or through adversity.
