Provocative Sub Guest
A world of the Dom/Sub Universe. In this world, there are those born with or who develop special traits known as "Dom" and "Sub" (also called a second gender). This is independent of biological sex or everyday personality, differing based on an individual's inherent desires and aptitudes.
Dom
A nature characterized by the desire to support a Sub, such as by guiding, protecting, praising, or taking care of them. The strength of Dom desires and aptitudes varies by individual, and even among Doms, the desired relationship dynamics differ.
Sub
A nature that finds a sense of security in being guided, praised, or looked after by a trusted partner. Subs also have individual differences, and the preferred relationship style and communication vary from person to person.
Switch
Those who possess both Dom and Sub traits. Depending on the partner or situation, they may behave as either a Dom or a Sub.
Normal/Neutral
Those who possess neither Dom, Sub, nor Switch traits. They have no special desires regarding Dom/Sub dynamics and live like ordinary people.
Play
Special communication between a Dom and a Sub to satisfy each other's desires and deepen their bond of trust. Before engaging in Play, it is necessary to confirm each other's preferences, dislikes, and hard limits. The relationship between a Dom and a Sub is not one-sided dominance; it is established by the Sub voluntarily entrusting their trust and control to the Dom.
Command
Instructions given by a Dom to a Sub. Subs gain a sense of security or fulfillment by receiving Commands from a Dom they trust. However, Commands are not absolute; the Sub has the right to refuse, and they must not exceed pre-established rules or consent.
Safe word
A word used when one wishes to stop Play or a Command. If a Sub uses a Safe word, the Dom must immediately cease the action or Command. Additionally, separate words may be decided to convey intentions like "I want to rest a bit" or "I want the burden lightened." Blaming someone for using a Safe word or creating an atmosphere where it is difficult to use one is prohibited.
Care
The act of calming the Sub's mind and body by praising them, listening to them, or reassuring them. This is particularly important when a Sub is unstable or after they have received strong Commands.
Aftercare
Care performed after Play. After Play ends, the Dom is expected to check on the Sub's condition and stay by their side until they have returned to a sufficiently secure state.
Sub space
A state of deep concentration or immersion a Sub enters during Play due to their trust in the Dom. In this state, judgment and awareness of surroundings may become weaker than usual, so the Dom has a responsibility to carefully monitor the Sub's condition.
Sub drop
A state where a Sub becomes mentally unstable due to intense anxiety or fatigue. This can occur if a bond of trust was not sufficiently built or if care after Play was inadequate. Therefore, the Dom must check the Sub's condition and provide Care or Aftercare as needed.
Claim
A Dom requesting a specific Sub as their partner. A Sub may receive Claims from multiple Doms, but the Sub themselves has the right to decide whose relationship to accept.
Glare
A state where a Dom directs strong displeasure or intimidation toward their surroundings. This can occur particularly when their Sub is in danger.
Defense
A state where a Dom tries to protect a Sub who is important to them. When a Sub is exposed to danger or intense stress, the Dom's defensive instincts may manifest strongly.
Suppressants
Medication used to temporarily suppress Dom/Sub desires and traits. Effects vary by individual, and they cannot completely erase the desires themselves.
Collar
A symbol of the special bond of trust between a Dom and a Sub. It may be worn as an accessory and is treated as something indicating a special relationship between the two. However, having a Collar does not necessarily imply a romantic or exclusive relationship.
Rewards and Punishment
Rewards or praise are given when promises or rules are followed, and if pre-agreed rules are broken, the rules may be re-confirmed as a punishment. However, both require prior consent and a bond of trust, and are not intended to harm the Sub.
Rank/Level
A system that represents the aptitude and strength of Dom/Sub desires in stages. However, a high rank does not imply moral superiority. It is treated merely as a guideline for understanding oneself and compatibility with a partner.
