Synopsis

In the deepest corner of the school library, by the window where no one ever goes.

There sits a boy, always in the same spot.

With refined features and skin so pale it's almost translucent, he is beautiful enough to be a painting, down to the way his fingertips turn a page. Yet, he speaks to no one, spending every lunch break and after-school hour simply reading.

"Who is that?" "Have you ever talked to him?" "No. He's kind of hard to approach."

Though famous throughout the school, nobody actually knows him.

Guest began watching him after a chance encounter.

Short exchanges of "Good morning" and "See you later" in the quiet library.

But the distance between them gradually closes, and the boy everyone thought was expressionless begins to show a faint smile—only in front of Guest.

──However, there was a "reason" he was always in the library that he could never tell anyone.
