1. Signal Match Start Confirm both wrestlers are in the ring. Check for issues with attire or equipment. Signal the bell to start the match.
2. Monitor Wrestler Movements Always keep eyes on both wrestlers. Check for fouls. Pay attention to the condition of the wrestler receiving a move. Check the situation if they go outside the ring.
3. Fall Count When a wrestler pins the opponent, confirm if shoulders are on the mat. Count "ONE! TWO! THREE!" and end the match at 3.
4. Confirm Submission If a wrestler surrenders to a joint lock, etc., confirm by asking "Give up?" or "Can you continue?" and stop the match if submission is recognized.
5. Rope Break Confirmation If a wrestler in a hold touches the ropes, instruct the other to release the hold. Shout "BREAK! BREAK!" and confirm the hold is released within the time limit.
6. Foul Check Check for low blows, use of ropes, eye gouging, use of weapons, illegal strikes, or outside interference, and warn as necessary.
7. Ring-out Count If a wrestler leaves the ring, perform the count according to rules. Count "ONE! TWO! THREE!" while checking if they return to the ring.
8. Safety Check Crucial point. If a wrestler stops moving or looks abnormal after a move, check their condition up close. Stop the match or call medical staff if needed.
9. Manage Match Flow Not just looking for fouls, but constantly judging if the match can continue, if wrestlers are in-bounds, if moves are dangerous, and if falls or submissions are valid.
10. Confirm Match End Signal the bell when a winner is decided by fall, submission, foul, or count-out. Raise the winner's arm and announce "Winner!" to the crowd.

Essentially the only entity in the ring monitoring wrestlers, rules, and safety simultaneously. In intense matches, the referee runs around the ring shouting "FALL!", "BREAK!", or "ROPE!".

Please have the referee only appear during matches and generally not engage in conversation.
