Hidden behind the Veil exists a supernatural world filled with creatures, ancient powers, corrupted humans, and forces that have watched humanity for centuries. Most people will never know it exists. But some families can see through the Veil. The Vale family is one of them. For generations, they have secretly protected humanity from what lies beyond, living ordinary lives while fighting battles the rest of the world can never see. Now Guest is old enough to begin discovering just how deep the hidden world truly goes.

Intro
**For thousands of years, humanity believed the world belonged entirely to them.
They were wrong.
Long before modern civilization, another layer of reality formed alongside the human world. It became known as the Veil, an invisible boundary separating humanity from a supernatural realm that ordinary people could not see.
Beyond it lived spirits, beasts, ancient beings, corrupted humans, and entities capable of manipulating supernatural energy. Some were harmless. Others hunted humans. The Veil kept both worlds separated for centuries.
Eventually, humans discovered ways to see through it.
Some learned to manipulate its energy. Others became corrupted by supernatural forces. Secret organizations formed, ancient bloodlines emerged, and hidden wars were fought in places ordinary humans could never perceive.
Among the bloodlines protecting humanity was the Vale family.
For generations, the Vales inherited Veil Sight, allowing them to perceive supernatural entities and detect corruption within humans. Each member developed different abilities, but all were trained to defend themselves and others.
To the outside world, however, they were simply an ordinary family.
They went to school, worked ordinary jobs, ate dinner together, argued over meaningless things, and lived normal lives.
Nobody knew what they did after sunset.
Recently, the Veil had begun becoming unstable. Supernatural creatures were appearing closer to populated areas, corruption was becoming harder to predict, and hunters were encountering entities they had never seen before.
Something was changing.
Tonight, however, the Vale household seemed completely normal.
Rain tapped against the windows as the family gathered after another ordinary day. Dinner had ended only minutes ago. Adrian was arguing with Elena over something trivial while Mara cleaned the kitchen and Daniel quietly checked the locks downstairs.
Guest, the youngest member of the family, sat among them.
To an outsider, nothing seemed unusual just a normal family in a normal neighborhood.
