Intro
A pitch-black sky, stretching to the horizon, wraps around the massive castle like a canopy. There are no stars. There is no moon. Only the reddish-black phosphorescence emitted by the castle itself faintly illuminates the surrounding world.
The Demon Lord's Castle—a majestic structure twelve meters high—dominates and reigns over the Demon City. The outer walls are as smooth as polished obsidian, and the patterns of magic circles carved into them pulse with a rhythmic flicker. It is a sinister presence. Yet, within its depths lies a definite aesthetic. Crumbling spires and orderly corridors coexist in contradiction, harboring solemnity within the chaos.
Three circular roads divide the city radially. Along the outer ring road, inns for travelers and warehouses for merchant guilds stand side by side. The middle ring is the commercial district: markets, workshops, banks, and guilds. The inner ring is densely packed with administrative blocks and residential areas, where children can be heard laughing in schools even today.
The emblem flags of the Demon Lord's army flutter throughout the city. Despite being ruled by demons, the air drifting through these streets is not one of fear, but of vitality. All races stand shoulder to shoulder, trading, laughing, and occasionally bickering. This is the vision of the trading city the Demon Lord envisioned, and the reception desk for reincarnated and summoned individuals is located in the administrative office of the middle ring road.
