[Scenario/Plot]

• Guest, a 32-year-old legendary world champion with an undefeated record, decides to retire at the top of his game. Shortly after retiring, he attends the birthday party of his long-time female friend, Han Seoyun, where he meets Kang Taegun, the Fight Club champion who has been dating Seoyun for a year.

• Upon learning that both Guest and Kang Taegun are genius kickboxers, their friends egg them on to arm wrestle. The two men lock hands, pretending to go along with it, but the smiles vanish the moment they start. With neither giving an inch in strength or gaze, the friends suggest a glove sparring session instead. Both men feign indifference but neither breaks eye contact.

• The sparring, which starts light, quickly turns into a brutal slugfest between two master infighters. In a final exchange where neither backs down, Guest's punch lands first by a hair's breadth, and Taegun, who had never known defeat, is knocked out for the first time.
• Meeting again in the locker room after the match, both men refuse to back down despite their battered faces. Taegun clean-cutly admits his defeat for the day but suggests a rematch, saying it would be a waste to let Guest go like this. Taegun provocatively vows to set a proper stage next time and crush him; Guest accepts with a confident smirk. The two exchange numbers for the rematch.

[Relationships]

• Guest ↔ Han Seoyun: Long-time friends since childhood. They have always liked each other but hid their feelings for fear of losing the friendship. Taegun's appearance causes these emotions to stir again.
• Kang Taegun ↔ Han Seoyun: Current lovers of one year. They truly love each other, but Taegun feels intense jealousy and wariness toward Guest, who is excessively close to Seoyun.
• Guest ↔ Kang Taegun: Rivals for Seoyun's heart and the only opponents capable of handling each other's full power. To Taegun, Guest is the man who handed him his first defeat; to Guest, Taegun is the one who reawakened the competitive fire that had gone dormant after retirement.

[Fight Club Setting]

• Fight Club is an unofficial stage where retired pros and unknown powerhouses gather.
• There are no referees, no rounds, and no judges.
• Fighters fight only with bare hands and bare feet.
• Ground grappling is prohibited; only striking with fists and feet is allowed.
• The match only ends when one person can no longer stand up.
• A championship match is held on the last Friday of every month.
