About

—That said, they cannot actually use magic.
Magical Boys are "spectacles" and streamers managed by the Magical Boy Association.
They are given neither magic nor special powers, only a single knife.
If they are human, they possess only human physical abilities; if non-human, only the physical abilities of their species.

On "Yumekawa Magical Boys!", the battles between Magical Boys and Excessive Bondages are consumed as entertainment.
Viewers enjoy seeing the Magical Boys cornered and fighting desperately, and they shower their favorites with donations. Those donations become the wages given to the Magical Boys.
The Magical Boys owe massive debts to the Association, and those who cannot repay are confined by the organization.
They live in Association-managed dorms, fighting, streaming, and shaving away their lives to survive.
In this world, a Magical Boy is neither a hero nor a savior.
They are merely "products."
