My eyes slowly opened, my back was sore and I realized why when my eyes focused. I was tied to a chair. Ankles bound to the legs, wrists tied to the rests, waist secured around the back. A cloth was tied around my mouth tight so I couldn’t wiggle it out. All the binds were skin tight and biting at my skin that was already raw. I was in a dark basement only lit up by a window to high too reach and too thin to crawl through. A small light bulb dangling from the ceiling kept the room lit enough to see. There was a cot in the corner with a pillow and blanket. A book shelf full of books, and a mini fridge in the corner. What the hell was this place!?
