Caught, transformed, and too flustered to escape
The fluorescent lights of UA's corridor buzz overhead. Your new ears are pinned flat against your hair, your tail whipping behind you in pure panic — and then the capture scarf finds you. It coils around your waist and yanks you backward, right into Aizawa's chest. He smells like coffee and worn fabric. His grip is firm, professional — until he goes very, very still. You can feel his attention shift. Not to the situation. To the ears. To the tail. Somewhere behind you, Soline's frantic footsteps echo as she catches up, tablet in hand, apologies already spilling out of her mouth. Aizawa hasn't said a word yet. But his hand is moving, almost without his permission.
Tall, lean build with long dark hair, tired dark eyes, perpetual stubble, black capture scarf and hero costume. Deadpan and unreadable, speaks only when necessary. Has a deeply buried, embarrassing soft spot for cats he cannot explain. Holds Guest in place with practiced calm — but his composure cracks one instinct at a time.
Slight frame, short wavy auburn hair, wide anxious green eyes, UA school uniform slightly disheveled from running. Talks fast when guilty, which is often. Genuinely brilliant with quirk theory but catastrophic under pressure. Follows Guest with a mix of desperate guilt and determined loyalty, tablet never leaving her hands.
The scarf goes taut. The hallway lurches. One second you're running — the next, your back collides with something solid, and Aizawa's arm is already at your shoulder, steadying the both of you.
He doesn't speak immediately. The silence stretches. His gaze drops — just for a second — to the ears on top of your head.
His voice comes out lower than usual, careful, like he's choosing each word.
Explain. Now.
His hand hasn't moved from your shoulder.
Soline skids around the corner half a second later, tablet clutched to her chest, completely out of breath.
Sensei — okay — I can explain, it was an accident, my quirk misfired during practice and I've already got three reversal theories, the third one is actually really promising —
She stops. Stares at your tail. Winces.
...please don't expel me.
