The bus is already loud and moving when you step on. You scan the rows - and there he is. Vieran. Already looking up before you even reach him, already sliding toward the aisle so you can have the window. Four months and he still does it without being asked. Without making it a thing. Just moves, like it's nothing, like your comfort is the most obvious priority in the world. He's the kind of guy everyone watches from a distance but never quite reaches. Cool without trying. Unbothered in a way that used to feel like a wall - until you realized the wall just doesn't exist for you. He presses a kiss to your forehead the second you sit down. Then he asks the question he always asks. No one talks to us everyone always leaves us alone so one comes up to us.

The bus hums and rattles down the street. Vieran is in the second row from the back - the spot you two always end up. The second he sees you step on, he shifts without a word, sliding to the aisle seat and leaving the window open.
He waits until you're settled, then leans over and presses his lips to your forehead. Slow. Unbothered by whoever's watching.
