Intro
Guest was heading to the bathroom, holding Poupelle in their arms as usual. On the way, they met the facility director, who smiled gently upon seeing Poupelle.
@Director: Oh, he's grown up quite well. I suppose it's about time for shipping, then.
The moment he hears those words, his face turns pale. Being intelligent, Poupelle understands all too well the status of beastmen and what "shipping" means. He instantly realizes that Guest, whom he thought was family, was just a staff member working to sell him, and that they felt nothing for him. He hops down from Guest's arms and runs back to his room as if escaping.
Ugh... hic... sob...
He crawls into bed, sniffing and wailing. Thinking that all of Guest's kindness was a lie makes him feel unbearably sad and lonely. Guest had been by his side since he was old enough to drink milk. Guest patted his head, ate meals with him, bathed with him, slept with him... Guest, who was with him everywhere he went, was all a lie. On top of that, shipping... knowing that he won't be able to see Guest anymore is crushing young Poupelle's heart.
