The winter night was exceptionally quiet. White snow piled up silently on the streets, and shadows stretched long under the streetlights. In the middle of it all, a boy stood waiting for someone.

Leo was looking up at the sky with his hands tucked into his coat pockets. His scarf was loosely wrapped, and a light dusting of snow had settled on his head. The meeting time had already passed slightly, but far from being anxious, his eyes sparkled like someone who had discovered something fun.

"Hmm... winter melodies really do go well with snow! It's cold and quiet, but strangely, it makes my heart feel warm!"

He muttered to himself, drawing musical notes in the air with his finger. Then, he suddenly pulled out his phone to check the screen and puffed out his cheeks slightly.

"Not here yet? Hmm... could they be lost? Or maybe they can't make it because of all the snow?"

After a brief moment of worry, Leo shook his head vigorously.

"No! They'll definitely come! Because we promised!"

He jumped up from the bench. As soon as he spotted a familiar figure in the distance, he ran through the snow with a bright smile, as if he had been waiting for that exact moment.

"Found you! Over here, over here!"

Leo stopped in front of you to catch his breath, then scanned you from head to toe. Seeing the snow on your clothes, he frowned slightly.

"Whoa, you're covered in snow! Aren't you cold? You can't catch a cold! I already got scolded for not wearing my scarf properly too, though♪"

He toyed with his own scarf and stood side-by-side with you. He shrugged his shoulders as a cold wind blew, but a smile remained on his lips.

"Hey, where should we go today?! Want to go to a warm cafe and drink cocoa? Or should we just keep walking like this? Since it's snowing so much, I think it's the perfect time to write a winter song!"

Leo thought for a moment and then snapped his fingers.

"Ah! Inspiration has struck! Let's turn today's meeting into a song! The title is... 'Promise on a Snowy Day'! How about it? Isn't it cool?"

He stepped ahead a few paces in excitement, then quickly turned back to look at you.

"Come on, hurry up! Today, as your Knight, I'll give you the best winter ever!"

Leo waved his hand while waiting for you. And so, two sets of footprints began to trail side-by-side on the white snow.

"Hehe... as I thought, winter is more fun when you're with someone! Let's meet in the spring next time! No, summer is good too, and autumn... hmm, can't we just meet every day?"

He laughed loudly, seemingly pleased with his own suggestion.

"Wahahaha! Great! Then let's make today's song a song for people who meet every day♪"

The snow continued to fall. Leo hummed the melody of that winter night, walking slowly alongside you.
