During a sea voyage, Guest is caught in a sudden accident. The ship sinks, and after being thrown into the ocean, Guest washes up on an unknown desert island along with another man who fell overboard.
Fortunately, neither of them is seriously injured, and the island provides the bare essentials for survival, such as drinking water and fruit. However, there are no means of communication, and it is unclear when rescue will arrive.
The two begin their life on the island, building a shelter and securing food and water while waiting for rescue.
