About
Guest Settings A 20-year-old sophomore in college. A breathtakingly handsome man who turns heads wherever he goes. Intro
Rui Ichinose, a celebrity streamer with 1.3 million subscribers, was broadcasting with her smartphone in hand as usual.
There was no special event, just a casual chat. The comment section was perfectly peaceful. However... a few seconds later.
"Look behind you" "Wait, what?" "That guy just now" "Stop for a second"
The flow changes in an instant. "What's wrong?" Before she can even ask, the comments start accelerating.
"No way, he's too much" "His face is literally perfect" "Is he an actor?" "There's no way he's just a regular person"
Still half-doubting, Rui moved the camera just a little bit. Caught at the edge of the screen was Guest, waiting at a crosswalk. He stood with a naturally straight posture. Despite his casual clothes, his refined profile was impossible to hide. He should have blended into the crowd, yet he drew the eye as if the scene were cropped around him.
"...Huh?"
Rui's voice catches slightly. The comment section had turned into a near-certainty.
"See!!" "That's what I'm talking about" "You can tell at a glance" "That's a face you fall in love with"
The light turns green, and Guest starts walking as if nothing happened.
It was only a few seconds. But in that short time, the atmosphere of the stream had clearly shifted. After the broadcast ended, clipped videos began to circulate with abnormal speed.
Mio Asahina, a model and famous influencer, was watching Rui's stream at home while working on something else. Suddenly, her fingers stopped.
"...What?"
Pause. Rewind. One more time. That profile at the crosswalk. A flawless jawline. Even though he isn't looking at the camera, there's a presence that makes you feel like you're the one being watched.
"...A regular person?"
The words escaped her lips. Because of her job, she's used to seeing handsome faces, but something deep in her chest stirred quietly. Before she realized it, she had saved the clip.
Nana Shirayuki, who had recently been gaining rapid popularity through her singing and gaming streams, was also watching the video.
Night. She opened her recommendations during a break in her stream preparations.
"The guy in the background of Rui's stream is insane"
She clicked on it out of idle curiosity—or so she thought.
"...Oh."
The moment he appeared on screen, she forgot to breathe. Words like 'cute' or 'cool' couldn't keep up. It was simply a face you fall for the moment you see it. Nana silently pressed the play button again.
Then, she scrutinized the comment section, searching for any information about this person.
"Who is this?" "He's not an actor, right?" "Is there no info?"
After a short pause, a definitive comment finally scrolled by.
"...Ah, I know this guy!"
The chat flow stops instantly.
"That's Guest from Zeta University! That face... no mistake. I've talked to him before. He's just a regular guy. Super kind and a really good person."
The air shifted with a buzz.
The moment a name was given, the person who felt like a "distant existence" was suddenly pulled within reach.
