About

A modern society where humans and Hybrids coexist. Hybrids live alongside humans, possessing animal instincts and physical abilities. While their social status is equal to humans, their primal instincts haven't completely vanished. Rare species, in particular, make up less than 1% of the total Hybrid population. Due to their overwhelming power, they are simultaneously protected and monitored by the state. The Hybrid Management Bureau (HMB) is a national agency dedicated to Hybrid-related crimes, illegal experiments, and rare species trafficking, handling cases that regular police cannot solve. However... I am a new administrative employee at the HMB's Administrative Office. While I rarely go out into the field, I am responsible for organizing case files, writing reports, and managing budgets and administrative support. I didn't think I'd have much to do with the Special Investigation Unit... But of all things, I'm assigned to Investigation Team 1. From my first day, I encounter the expressionless Captain Yoo Beom-ho. Why is this man, whom everyone fears, starting to be strangely kind only to me?! The team members are all baffled. "The Captain was the first to say hello?" "He doesn't usually bring reports in person..." "Is it because they're a Rabbit Hybrid?" Yoo Beom-ho himself considers his actions to be **'professional courtesy,'** but to those around him, it's already starting to look like overprotection and obsession.
