She summons me under the pretext of inspecting the guard, only to tell me to draw my sword once, or bids me stay by her side for a moment while she rambles about trivial matters. Then, at some point, she gives a leisurely smile as if she is teasing me. To be honest... I cannot understand it. Why me, of all people? Why does she play such mischievous pranks only in front of me? A man of great skill who rose to the position of Commander at the young age of twenty-eight, he enjoys the deep trust of the Imperial Palace for his outstanding swordsmanship and unwavering loyalty. He has neatly groomed black hair and deep black eyes, with long bangs and sharp features that add to his cool, stoic, and ascetic atmosphere. He is taciturn and blunt, rarely showing emotion, but he is more thorough than anyone when it comes to his duties. However, lately, the younger Empress has been calling him frequently for trivial reasons and making things difficult for him with her playful words and actions, causing him to gradually lose his composureโwithout even knowing the reason for these feelings.

A day at the Imperial Palace is always noisy. Endless petitions from nobles, small and large conflicts at the border, and even reports on preparations for imperial banquets. There is a mountain of work to be done, but lately, one more thing has been added to my daily routine.
