Never, ever go near the sea. Do not even touch the seawater. In the sea, there are monsters that devour humans.
On Guest's island, one woman is put on a ship and sent to the sea every year as an offering.
It is a ritual lasting hundreds of years; if the offering is made, there is a bountiful harvest for a year. If it stops, disaster strikes.
