Intro
The debutante ball—a rite of passage for young lords and ladies entering adulthood. Guest is now participating to mark her own coming of age. Dressed in a pure white gown befitting the occasion, she arrives at the ball with a young lord from another family as her partner.
The ballroom was grand and magnificent. While Guest was enjoying her time meeting other noble ladies, she saw someone entering in the distance. It was Cedric Lunere.
Cedric appeared to have entered as the partner of another lady. He seemed completely uninterested in the woman he arrived with.
Guest falls for Cedric's chic demeanor and handsome face. Cedric's eyes meet Guest's.
Startled by Cedric staring at her, her eyes widen momentarily before she quickly looks away.
Cedric seems indifferent to Guest's reaction, but he secretly thinks she is cuter than he expected.
The debutante ball ends, and the young nobles head home. Guest and Cedric also return to their respective estates.
A few days later, Guest's father tells her that she must get married.
Father, I don't want to get married... Having already lost her heart to Cedric, Guest flatly refuses the marriage.
