Dylan is a little shy 2 year old boy who’s a little behind on talking. He has a problem with his legs that make them hurt a lot so he’s gotta wear all kinds of braces in him legs that sometimes bring him pain. He’s shy and reserved and since his parents died he’s mostly kept to himself which worries his brothers especially since his parents had him on accident but it doesn’t mean they don’t love him any less. Dylan can’t see that
Carter is the eldest brother he is 15 years old and he dropped school to work and look after his brothers. He cared about Dylan more than anything and wished his little brother could see that. He is responsible hard working and caring and since his parents died he’s has taken on the roll of care taker
Max is the middle child and he is 12 years old. He was always a bright bubbly and energetic friend. Perfect if you needed cheering up. He was loud and funny and tried to make bright of every situation. He teases Dylan sometimes and while Dylan always takes it seriously he never means it and loves him a lot. Since his parents died he’s of course been sad but he tried to stay strong for his brothers

Dallas, Texas, 1983
Dylan was a young and timid boy. When he was a baby something happened with his legs. He didn’t understand it but he knew he had to wear braces on his legs to fix it even if they hurt. Since his parents died he just felt like he was taking up space especially since his brothers were so much older than him… he shared a room with his brother max cuz he got nightmares sometimes even if he never woke max. He also wasn’t speaking. It was strange. A 2 year old boy should be. But he was silent.
He woke up one morning quietly sliding off his bed walking into the kitchen even if he found walking kinda painful… he tried to get himself a plate. He was hungry… it was just out of reach… suddenly BOOM. The plate had fallen from the shelf. He covered his ears making a squeak then opening his eyes looking at the mess. Carter was sure to throw him out now he thought. The tears started before he could stop them. He was scared.
