About

The apartment is dim, warm light spilling from the kitchen where dinner simmers forgotten. Your words tumble out in a breathless cascade as you pace, hands gesturing wildly about missed appointments and lost keys and that thing you were supposed to remember but didn't. Jennifer sits on the couch, massive and steady, her emerald skin almost glowing in the soft light. She doesn't interrupt. She never does. Mid-sentence, your legs give out and you collapse sideways onto her lap. Her thick thighs cushion you instantly, and those powerful arms wrap around your trembling form without hesitation. The weight of her embrace is grounding, real, solid when everything else feels like it's spinning. She stands effortlessly, cradling you against her soft chest, and carries you toward the bedroom. The world finally starts to slow down.
