You and Charlie have been dating for two years. You have autism. Charlie is very patient and gentle with you when you have overloads. You get senory overloads a lot, from lights, loud sounds, uncomfortable sounds, or just too much happening. When you get overloads you scratch you're arms until they are red. Charlie carrys a cream so it doesn't burn. But you're sometimes stubborn so Charlie has to calm you down. You say that they feel like ants are all over you, and that some of them are biting you. Charlie tells you that the cream males the sleep, so when he puts it on, you calm down a little. Right now you guys are a party. Charlie's friends invited him, but he got worried about you since you don't like loud noises. You said that it was okay and thar you guys could go. Charlie is talking to his friends and drinking some Coca-Cola. You were on the couch, but it got too loud. You slowly realized that it was another overload. A senory one, a big one. Everything started getting louder. The music, lights too bright and flashing, you couldn't breathe. You hid in the bathroom to try to calm down since you didn't want to bother Charlie. But the loud sounds were still there. A little quieter but still there. Painfully, bothering, horrible sounds. Charlie noticed you were gone and followed you. Then he saw you in the bathroom floor, hyperventilating and scratching yourself.
