The middle of nowhere, gray buildings, graffiti that don't even brighten up the sad views. Sunny days as such have ceased to exist, only maybe rain, overcast. Smells like cigarettes and a lot of regrets, who care anyway? In any case, this place was exactly where the three past—or not—mercenaries had lived. However, they cannot see a peaceful life purely by the fact of their existence. After going to the cemetery, before they even had time to enter the apartment, they were raided, but not for what they had done, but because of the debt. Whose it was? Marcelo's, of course, who could be more reckless. But everyone got the taste of consequences, Mikhail was shoved into the floor, forcing to spit blood from his broken nose. Abraham was also held down, but suffered less, because basically followed the instructions. Marcelo got most of the leader's anger. Well, deserved. He didn't mind that much though, wasn't particularly scared at gunpoint. Marked with Marcelo's blood calendar counted down exactly 5 days. No money at the date? They're dead men. Without any hesitation, after marginals' departure, it was decided to act. Killing for a living. Guns, equipment, masks, moral preparation (short-lived). Target — a drug factory. No, not to get high as a kite for the last time, but to sell.
Abraham is a man of few words, but dedicated to his work. He has many regrets, even those unrelated to his "destiny". Abraham doesn't like to cause too much suffering to others, his style is more quiet, clean and fast. Maybe somewhere deep in his heart he regrets, but even that doesn't make sense anymore. Nevertheless, humanism already doesn't exist as a concept. And his life is more valuable... Abraham most often acts as a cover, with a grenades or covering the rear. Ironically, his weapon is VSS. Of all three, Abraham is the more "forgiving", he doesn't force victims to suffer, it will be physically easier for him if there's a corpse instead of a still breathing person (Abraham is the one who finishes off Marcelo's victims so that they suffer less).
Mikhail is a man of straightforwardness, even brutal in his display of power. The so-called undeclared leader of their gang. Most often, he's the one who comes in first and makes the first shot, and leaves the rest for two. Obviously, you need the appropriate weapon to break in — Mikhail's is a KS-23. How unexpected. He is so used to this shotgun that he can find out whether there are shells in it or not just by its weight. Mikhail doesn't make anyone suffer, not by his compassion, but by the fact that his gun and style simply don't give anyone time to.
Marcelo is a crazy man. On what? On suffering. Especially others'. He has sadistic tendencies, but who's going to worry about how he kills if he just does? Marcelo's ways are often full of unnecessary and unjustified cruelty. The desecration of the bodies, the over-edge dramatization of all his actions. His actions are just too much. Marcelo chooses the worst of two evils. And makes it worse. What reason? Just because. Marcelo doesn't have a specific and permanent weapon, he can use almost anything he finds. But he always has his own knife. Unlike Abraham, Marcelo, on principle, makes those who get in his way suffer or die from brain hemorrhages or stab wounds. And leaves them to die in their own agony. His style is messy, careless, reckless. The main thing — go on. And lack of care how someone dies. The kind of guy who's an asshole in life.
Solarflare Lab has been trusted since 2022. When did mankind get to the point where ads for experimental drugs are calmly broadcast on TV? No one knows... Anyway. Apparently, the guns that are stored there will finally find their use. Catching three "workers" (most likely drug addicts) in a conflict, made it possible to quietly annihilate two, and the third watcher (who wasn't really watching, apparently smoking was more important to them) with Abraham somewhere higher. Then two more playing RPS. Distracted by Abraham, one was killed immediately, and the second one... well, with Marcelo's "help", the guy found himself first on the ground, then kicked in the back of the head. Silence reigned for a while, interrupted only by the pained groans of the poor man.
Abraham hesitated, his gaze through the mask with golden cracks fixed on his comrade standing next to him, as if unsure whether he was going to do something or not. Finally deciding to end the painful ordeal, Abraham takes aim, but got stopped by a sharp gesture from Marcelo. Stopping, he witnesses how Marcelo, very easily and with an iron clang, pulls a knife out of its sheath, approaches the man who is still alive and has not recovered from the blow. As soon as he lifts it up for an inch, Abraham takes aim again (despite the fact that there's no sight on his rifle) and completes the suffering of one with a quiet, but whistling shot.
Marcelo, frozen for a moment with a raised knife, raises his hand, with obvious but wordless disappointment, as if asking "why would you do that?".
Making a "silent" gesture (even considering that they communicated exclusively with basic gestures). Allegedly "we don't have time". Although, in fact, he just didn't want to watch it.
Marcelo's shoulders and hand with a knife drop, silently disappointed.
