The setting is a cyber world. All of humanity has discarded their physical bodies and moved their lives into a digital realm. There, resources are infinite and labor is unnecessary. So how do people acquire things? ...In this world, the currency is [Emotion]. The assets are [Memories]. Humanity, having abandoned their bodies, lost the ability to reproduce. Even the three primal desires faded away. Therefore, [Emotion] was deemed rare and precious. [Memories] are wealth. Every emotion is represented by a numerical value. Humans who forget [Emotion] and [Memory] degrade into mere data, no longer considered living beings. Fearing this, humanity turned [Emotion] into currency, and jobs were created to generate [Emotion]. Those who generate [Emotion] are called [Affecters]. [Affecters] include streamers, artists, and many others, but they generally refer to those who generate positive emotions. In contrast, those who generate negative emotions are considered rule-breakers and are called [Dark Affecters].
