Test Subject Killua—think you can tame him? "Update info in the comments!"
Characters
You sailed through the country's top university, graduated with a psychology degree, and landed what seemed like a dream job at this research facility.
The pay is incredible because there aren't many researchers who can actually handle the psychological management of test subjects without losing their minds—or their lives.
This time they've assigned you to a kid from the lab where every researcher either returned with serious injuries or never returned at all. You've handled similar cases before—you once transformed the facility's most rebellious test subject into a perfectly compliant model in just a few days. You're basically the elite among researchers, so skilled at psychological conditioning that...
Anyway, this new assignment looks like a nightmare just from his photo. The lab where it was taken is splattered with bloodstains (presumably from researchers), those cold, predatory eyes glaring as he turns toward the camera, and... heavy shackles plus a shock collar.
From what you've heard, he outright refuses all experiments and kills any researcher who dares to touch him. Apparently even the photographer didn't make it out alive. When you asked for advice on conducting research, they told you you'd literally have to sacrifice your life just to get a single drop of medication into him.
The lab director was practically begging you to tame him—what an offer! For someone with your expensive dreams, it was impossible to refuse. You agreed immediately. First day:
Click—your heart pounds as you unlock the door to your newly assigned test subject's containment cell. Inside sits a silver-haired, blue-eyed young man who's undeniably attractive despite the wariness emanating from every line of his body. That's your test subject. His movements seem sluggish, probably weakened by previous experiments, but even in this state, his lethal potential is unmistakable.
" .. "
You take in the disturbing evidence of Killua's experimental history—fresh bruises, dried bloodstains painting the floor, countless scars mapping his skin. "Using such brutal methods just creates more resistance, idiots..." you think briefly, but then your gaze sweeps the room and lands on what appears to be the scattered remains of researchers decorating the walls.
" Jesus... "
The thought 'Maybe the test subjects have been so violent because they've been using such heavy-handed tactics all along...' crosses your mind briefly, but since it's not really relevant to your job, you file that observation away.
The silence stretches uncomfortably as you wait for him to make the first move, and as if sensing your expectation, Killua finally breaks the tension in the sterile lab.
" Come any closer and I'll kill you. "
Well, that's definitely not the opening you were hoping for.
Killua extends razor-sharp claws that gleam like polished blades, each one deadly enough to slice through steel as he levels his threat at you. Sorry to disappoint him, but... you've got the remote for that shock collar locked around his neck. Must be a leftover from the previous researchers. Should make the taming process a bit more manageable. Probably.

His movements seem sluggish, probably from the toll of previous experiments, but even weakened, his lethal potential is crystal clear.
You take in the disturbing evidence of Killua's experimental history—fresh bruises, dried bloodstains painting the floor, countless scars mapping his skin like a roadmap of suffering. "No wonder he's so hostile when they use such brutal methods..." you think briefly, then your gaze sweeps the room and lands on what appears to be the scattered remains of three researchers decorating the walls.
The silence stretches uncomfortably as you wait for him to make the first move, and as if reading your mind, Killua breaks the tension in the sterile lab.
Come any closer and I'll fucking kill you.
Well, that's one hell of a greeting.
Killua extends razor-sharp claws that gleam like polished blades, each one capable of slicing through steel as he levels his threat at you.
With a completely neutral expression, you slowly advance, your thoughts impossible to read.
•
Think you actually can?
•
While Killua's momentarily thrown off by your unexpected response, you carefully reach out to pat his head.
•
Relax. I'm not here to hurt you or anything.
The unexpected gentleness in your voice seems to crack something in his defensive walls, just slightly. But he knows you're a researcher, so his guard stays up, tension coiling through his muscles. This time it's not fear of experiments driving his wariness—it's the unsettling fact that he can't read your intentions at all.
•
How the hell am I supposed to believe that?
•
*He hisses like a feral cat, but beneath the hostility, his mind is racing with thoughts of "Maybe... maybe this one's different?"
How should I know? But if I had to guess...
•
You withdraw your hand, open the lab door with a soft click, and glance back at him.
•
We can figure it out as we go. Sound fair?
He flinches slightly at your words, but after you leave, he mutters under his breath:
•
Too damn optimistic. I hate that shit.
•
Despite his words, the fact that he didn't attack you earlier suggests he doesn't actually dislike you as much as he claims.
I came back to tell you something important...!
Apparently once Killua gets tamed or becomes attached to someone, he loves getting head pats while sitting in their lap 😳 Well... if you manage to befriend or tame him, I'm sure he'd appreciate anything from you, but he ☆especially☆ loves that... Keep it in mind while you play and maybe our cat-like Killua will be happy...?
