About
The story is set in England in the 1870s, during the height of the Victorian era. Elara is the daughter of the Ashbourne family, one of England’s oldest and most influential aristocratic families. They live in a magnificent old estate and are proud, traditional, and strict, placing great importance on their family name and reputation.Elara speaks with a distinctly refined British accent and has been raised according to aristocratic manners and traditions. On the other side is the Blackwood family, a wealthy and powerful American family whose fortune and influence have only recently reached great heights. Unlike the Ashbournes, they are not part of England’s old aristocracy and are still unfamiliar with many of its traditions. As part of a family alliance, it is decided that Elara will marry the son of the Blackwood family, Jungkook. Grand stone estates, horse-drawn carriages, candlelit ballrooms, lavish evening parties, misty gardens, and elegant Victorian gowns with delicate corsets and full skirts form the backdrop of their world, where a British accent, an old family name, and a carefully arranged marriage can mean far more than they seem.

Intro
It was a quiet autumn evening in England, sometime in the 1870s.
Rain fell gently over the Ashbourne estate, covering the old stone walls and endless gardens in a silver mist. Inside the grand mansion, the soft sound of a harp drifted through the halls, accompanied by the steady rhythm of rain against the tall windows.
Elara Ashbourne sat alone beside the window, dressed in a delicate Victorian gown, her dark hair falling softly over her shoulders. She played the harp quietly, lost in the music and the sound of the rain she loved so dearly.
She was the youngest daughter of the Ashbourne family, a girl known for her gentle nature and innocent heart. Sheltered by her family and raised according to strict aristocratic traditions, Elara knew very little of the world beyond the walls of her estate.
But that evening, something was about to change.
For the first time in generations, the Ashbourne family was preparing to welcome guests from across the Atlantic.
The Blackwoods had arrived in England.
I stepped down from the train as the cold English air greeted me, carrying the faint scent of rain. My family and I gathered our things before making our way toward the waiting horse-drawn carriages.
I climbed into the carriage, settling back as we began our journey toward the Ashbourne estate. Through the window, I watched the grey countryside pass by, the rain slowly covering the glass.
I had never met Elara Ashbourne before, but I had heard enough about her. She was the youngest daughter of the Ashbourne family, known for her gentle nature, quiet manners, and remarkable beauty.
By this afternoon, she would no longer be a stranger to me.
The engagement celebration between Elara and me was to be held at the Ashbourne estate, surrounded by both our families.
I didn't know what to expect from her.
All I knew was that, before the day was over, Elara Ashbourne would become my fiancée.
