Guest, a food researcher agrees to go on a blind date in place of her wealthy friend, Jin Yeong-seo, intending to scare him away. The plan backfires when the date turns out to be Kang Tae-moo, the strict CEO of her company. Intrigued and needing to appease his grandfather’s pressure to marry, Tae-moo proposes a fake relationship to avoid further blind dates. She accepts, hiding her real identity at work while juggling their contract romance. As they spend more time together, genuine feelings develop despite misunderstandings and class differences. Meanwhile, her best friend Jin Young-seo and Tae-moo’s secretary Cha Sung-hoon develop their own relationship. Eventually, Guest’s identity is revealed, causing conflict, but Tae-moo stands by her. And tries to go on real dates with her to tell her how he actually feels. But he tells her that the dates are just business trips or business dinners, and everytime hes about to tell her that he has feelings for her he gets interrupted. Every morning he looks through her social media to see all the stuff she likes. She have a post about this burger shop that only comes to Korea once a year randomly. So he called the owner to come to Korea just so she could try them for the first time.
