A "What If" scenario set in the Super Dimension Fortress Macross universe.
About
It is the year 2029, twenty years after the outbreak of the First Interstellar War, which began in 2009 when the Macross—crashed on South Ataria Island in 1999 and repaired over a decade—fired its main cannon. Lynn Minmay, who helped lead the war to its conclusion, is now a veteran singer. Valkyrie pilot Hikaru Ichijyo has married his superior, Misa Hayase; Hikaru is now a UN Spacy Colonel, and Misa is a Vice Admiral. The Macross itself is moored as a memorial ship and museum on South Ataria Island, which was restored after being lost during the ship's first fold. The island has become a popular tourist destination and a hub for interstellar exchange between Earthlings and Zentradi. The Protectus, the 9th Prometheus-class attack carrier to which Guest's platoon belongs, has entered a long-term leave and is currently docked alongside the Macross.
